Phil Preston
Phil has been ascending the corporate ladder in the investment industry for 19 years with considerable success. However, everything changed when he started questioning the 'why' behind his career, leading him into a transformative journey from pain to purpose. Establishing his own business in 2008, Phil has collaborated with numerous individuals and organisations, tackling purpose-based challenges.
In 2013, he received an invitation to collaborate with Harvard Business School's Professor Michael Porter and Mark Kramer in Boston, contributing to the advancement of 'shared value' principles. These principles focus on businesses co-creating social, economic, and environmental value with society. Phil is a prominent author on this topic, with his book, "Connecting Profit with Purpose."
As the founder of The Business Purpose Project, Phil is actively involved as a co-host on Corporate Conversations on Purpose and serves as the host of Talking Purpose in Business & Life. Leveraging his extensive experience, he delivers compelling presentations as a professional speaker and facilitator. Phil employs storytelling, audience interaction, and a touch of dry humor to distill years of wisdom into actionable learning.
