Nigel Wainwright
Nigel is an experienced executive coach, mentor, facilitator, and consultant who collaborates with individuals, teams, and organisations to boost growth, development, and success. With fifteen years of expertise, Nigel has successfully completed over 3,000 hours of coaching and 400 days of facilitation in the field.
He specialises in working with senior leaders, executive teams, and boards, offering expertise across global, ASX, Family Office, NFP, and public sectors. Nigel focuses on holistic coaching and mentoring programs tailored for senior leaders. He also provides instruction at a Sydney business school, focusing on part-time MBA programs and individual and organisational development.
Previously, Nigel served as a CEO in the healthcare and community services sector. Before that, he was a management consultant and partner with prominent global firms, accumulating fifteen years of adaptive leadership experience in the complex health and aged care sectors.
Nigel’s public sector experience includes work for Defence, Health, APSC, Australian Energy Regulator, National Archives, the ACT Government, and local government. Early in his career in the UK, he worked for about seven years in two statutory authorities, the Nature Conservancy Council and the Natural History Museum. Subsequently, he spent several years consulting to the UK public sector as a management consultant with KPMG in London, before moving to Australia in 1986.
Nigel resides at Bundanoon, located half-way between Canberra and Sydney, and he regularly leads assignments in each of these cities.
